Our reports are built from live hiring activity: the contract job postings being advertised in each market. We aggregate that activity to describe the market as a whole; the reports are about trends and demand, not individual jobs, employers or applicants.
Each report focuses on a single discipline and compares the latest period against a longer baseline, so you see both today’s picture and the direction of travel. That includes overall hiring demand, the most in-demand skills, the seniority mix, work type (such as remote, hybrid or on-site) and, for the UK, IR35 status.
Reports are generated from the latest available postings and refreshed on an ongoing basis as new hiring activity comes through. Each report shows its own report date so you always know how current the figures are.
IR35 (the UK off-payroll working rules) affects how a contract is structured and how a contractor is paid, so whether roles are being advertised inside or outside IR35 is one of the most important signals in the UK market. We surface that split in UK reports. IR35 is specific to the UK and does not apply to our UAE coverage.
